Carsington Sailing Club

Carsington Sailing Club is a family friendly club located at Carsington Water on the edge of the Peak District National Park and less than 6 miles from the picturesque market towns of Ashbourne and Matlock. We have direct access to the 9th largest reservoir in England, right from the foreshore of the Club House.

The Club is an RYA affiliated training centre and has ample parking, changing facilities, and great food available from “The Galley”.
We are proud to have an active integrated RYA Sailability section with designated parking spaces and a self-contained changing facility with a disability hoist.

Club activities range from recreational sailing, racing, and social events, to National Open Race meetings, attracting competitors from far and wide.
The Club is open all year round with sailing available 5 days per week Wednesday through Sunday. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Evening sailing is available on Wednesdays and Fridays in the summer months.
