Email Issues

SCM uses Mailgun as the delivery engine for sending emails and notifications. Each SCM account uses its own sending domain, typically a subdomain of your own domain. (A subdomain is used so as not to affect any email accounts that you operate for incoming email).

If there are any issues with delivering emails, malign detects these and reports them back to SCM. If the reason for delivery failure meets certain criteria, the email address will be suppressed to prevent emails being to that address in future. This is to protect the mail sending reputation of your domain and the associate IP address. A bad reputation can reduce the delivery rate of emails.

You can review the full list of suppressed emails on the Email Issue page. (This page only shows if there are suppressed email addresses).

Please review whenever they appear. 

IMPORTANT: Only Reset the email (this removes it form the suppression list) if you are confident that the address is valid and wishes to receive emails.
