Notifications

The key to an effective Duty Roster is good communication and the automated notifications make this easy. You can start with the default text we suggest but you may want to customise this for your own requirements.

There are 14 types of notification and some of these can have multiple versions.

Roster - This notification is sent to invite a Contact to fulfill a duty at an event. (Only 1 instance required)

Roster Response Prompt - This notification is sent to prompt a Contact to respond to a Duty allocation. (You can define multiple instance for different reminders)

Roster Confirmation - This notification is sent to a Contact to confirm their Duty. (Only 1 instance required)

Roster Reminder - This notification is sent to remind a Contact that they have agreed to do a Duty and that they need to arernega swap if they can't make it. It can also include details of when to turn up and what to bring. (You can define multiple instance for different reminders)

Removed from Roster - This notification is sent to inform a Contact that they have been removed from a Duty allocation. (Only 1 instance required, but it includes space for a custom message when sending)

Roster Response (Admin) - This notification is sent to inform an admin user that a roster invitation has been responded to - this notification is only sent to nominated admin users

Swap Invite - This notification is sent when a Contact invites other Contacts to swap duties. (Only 1 instance required)

Swap Reminder - This notification is sent to remind a Contact that a duty swap has been offered. (Only 1 instance required)

Swap Accepted - This notification is sent to inform a Contact that their swap request has been accepted. (Only 1 instance required)

Swap Declined - This notification is sent to inform a contact that their swap request has been declined. (Only 1 instance required)
