Moving a boat without creating uninvoiced / invoiced records
If moving a boat from an old Berth / Space to a new one, where they are similarly priced, the following are 3 methods to do this without creating uninvoiced / invoice records.
1. MOVE button
Do not pro-rate the old Berth / Space
Do not pro-rate the new Berth / Space
Mark the new Berth / Space as Non Billable
2. CORRECT button
The Correct Button changes the Berth / Space for the entire period.
Make sure the new Berth / Space is available prior to using the Correct Button, as this process does not check availability.
Make sure the proper Price Category is assigned to the new Berth / Space. The Correct button does not create uninvoiced records. Make sure the old and new Berth / Space has the same Price Category before using the Correct button.
3. Rename the Berth / Space
If relocating a number of boats to a new area, where the new Berth / Space as the same Price Category as the old Berth / Space, then simply renaming the Berth / Space Group and Berth / Space can be a viable option
An example of this is where Vanguard 15 (V15) boats have been moved from the Dry Storage Dinghy Ramp area to Dry Storage Area C.
