Renewals

Berth/space allocations can be renewed in bulk by admin users or on-line by the members themselves (recommended).

We recommend inviting people to confirm and renew their berth allocations via the club site as this reduces the amount of admin work that needs to be done.

Whichever method you choose you will need to complete steps 1 and 2 below.

1) Setup new prices : If / when you have agreed and approved any price changes, you should update the prices for all affected charging rates.

2) Lock allocations for renewal or repeat : There are 2 options for renewal.
a) Lock a berth allocation for 'renewal' if it is a continuation of the current the current allocation i.e. extending current allocation from the end date for a further year.
b) Lock a berth allocation for 'repeat' if you want to allocate for the same dates in the next year e.g. April to Oct

If you wish to renew memberships at the same time you should also lock these before inviting people to confirm renewals.

3) Invite Members to Renew : Send an emailing to all current Members asking the to login to the Member Portal or go direct to the Renewal page. Here they can agree to any terms and conditions and confirm that they wish to renew. When they click the button to confirm, their allocation will be renewed and, if you have one or more payment gateways enabled, they will be asked to pay on-line or authorise payment by Direct Debit. If no payment gateways are available an Invoice will be emailed to them asking for payment by other methods.
