Responses and Results

Step 3 of the process is to view responses and results.

Polls (Votes, Polls, Survey and Quizzes) are displayed in the Portal, subject to any constraints defined. Contacts/Members will be prompted to complete any open Polls whenever they login. 

You might also want to send an email to encourage or remind people to respond.

The following screen shot is an example of what a user might see once they have clicked on the polling menu item

The Results of Polls can be viewed during and after their active period by going to the Polling section of the admin site as shown in the screen shot below.

There are 3 sub-pages on the Polling home page:-

• Active This page shows all polls that are currently visible to users
• Recently Completed This page shows all polls that are no longer visible to users
• Upcoming This page shows all polls that have yet to be made visible to users

To view the sub-pages click on the appropriate heading

All of the polls appropriate to the sub-page are shown along with a summary of responses.

Results for each polling group can also be viewed by clicking on the group name.

This will display the polling group page.  Click on the results heading to view the results as shown.
