Membership Renewals

Memberships can be renewed in bulk by admin users or on-line by the member themselves (recommended).

1) Setup new period : Towards the end of the current membership period, once you have agreed and approved any price changes, you should create the new membership period and add the prices.

2) Lock memberships for renewal : Whilst most memberships will be renewed to the same type for the new period, some may be changing due to reaching age limits or other constraints. To ensure everyone will be renewed to the correct membership type for the new period you need to check and lock them to the correct type. It is usually easiest to do this one category at a time.

3) Invite Members to Renew : Send an emailing to all current Members asking the to login to the Member Portal or go direct to the Renewal page. Here they can agree to any terms and conditions and confirm that they wish to renew. When they click the button to confirm, their membership will be renewed and, if you have one or payment gateways enabled, they will be asked to pay on-line or authorise payment by Direct Debit. If no payment gateways are available an Invoice will be emailed to them asking for payment by other methods.
