Membership Passes (Digital Cards)

To avoid having to issue membership cards, especially plastic or laminated ones, you can enable Membership Passes. These work as part of the membership portal features of the website. The membership passes can display a QR code as well as the name, membership number and a picture of the member. The QR code can represent a unique ID or code for each member. 

To enable Membership Passes: 

1) Click the 'Configure' link on the Membership page
2) Select the 'Membership Pass' sub section
3) Click the 'Enable Membership Passes for members' checkbox
4) Upload a logo to be displayed on the Pass
5) Choose the format of your QR code, i.e. what you want the QR code readers to see
6) Choose background colours for the passes based age, membership types, length or membership (optional)

When Membership Passes are enabled they can be viewed by visiting the home page of your club website (providing you are using the SCM powered site) on a smartphone.
